Calton Hill by Day Edinburgh

by admin on November 10, 2008

When I moved to Edinburgh one of the first places I really wanted to take a panoramic style image was Calton Hill. Calton Hill, for those who are not familiar with Edinburgh, sits at one end of Princes Street which is the main road that runs through the centre of Edinburgh. It offers fantastic views of most of the city including New Town, Old Town, Salisbury Crags and Arthurs Seat, Pentland Hills and further.

The first image below is the full panoramic from Calton Hill which you must click on to see a much larger version. The original panoramic was huge so it has been downsized considerably (do still click on it for a larger version though) and I’ve also attached sections of the panoramic underneath which don’t need to be clicked onto.

Hope you like these.
