Dean Village Edinburgh snow photos

Post image for Dean Village Edinburgh snow photos

In a previous post I talked about how much I like Dean Village in Edinburgh. Architecturally it’s really beautiful, it’s very close to town but also very peaceful at the same time. In the future and depending on our work situations I would quite like to move their with Edinburgh but for now we’re still happy with our home in Meadowbank.

Last year I never really got round to taking photos of Edinburgh but this autumn, in between work and photography work, I managed to get out and take some photos. Here are some pictures I took around Dean Village while we had really thick snow.

The vast majority of photos were shot digitally although I did shoot some photos using 6×6 with different kinds of film including Kodak Portra (my favourite colour neg), Velvia 50 and Fuji Neopan Across 100 (my favourite b&w film). I’ll be doing some darkroom prints of these images in the new year.

Hope you enjoy and be sure to click on each photo for a much larger view.

If you’re interested in purchasing a print I have setup a shopping cart on my proofing site which I normally use to sell wedding prints. In the next few weeks I’ll be creating a site dedicated to just e-commerce but the included link has many different options for purchasing prints. If you have any specific requirements, ie you want a specific type of frame or paper, then please contact me at: enquiries@chrisradleyphotography.com

The shopping cart can be found at:
