In May I photographed a wedding for Alan and Deborah at two different locations. First of all we started off at a church in a small town called Kelty in Fife. Kelty is literally just a few shops, a church, a bowling green and a few pubs (at least from what I saw) so when we were shooting the wedding it felt like the whole town came out to watch.
Kelt Kirk is a really ineresting venue to photograph. Inside it’s quite ordinary and fairly dark but there are many spots to photograph from, so it’s quite nice for me as a photographer to shoot at a venue where I can move around quite a lot but relatively unnoticed.
Alan and Deborah hired a double decker bus which I was actually quite excited about. The bus was a fantastic way of transporting a lot of people but sadly due to times we really didn’t have any time to take photos inside.
After the wedding the party relocated to Houston House Hotel where I photographed a wedding for Amy and Simon last July. It was great to return to this venue and of all the venues I’ve photographed this is one of my favourites. We were also quite fortunate as there was due to be another wedding on the day but this was postponed for whatever reason.
So below are some of my favourite shots from the day. Hope you like.
