Liberty Square, Taipei

Post image for Liberty Square, Taipei

Even though our time in Taipei was a bit short I took a fair few panoramics, but out of everywhere we travelled to, the most spectacular sight was Liberty Square in central Taipei.

Taiwan has some really beautiful architecture and while the 101 is incredible to look at nowhere is more impressive than Liberty Square which houses the National Theatre, a Concert Hall and the Chiang Kai-Shek memorial hall. We visited the inside of Chiang Kai-Shek memorial hall seperately but for which this has blogged in a separate post.

Erected in remembrance for Chiang Kai Shek who brought the KMT party to Taipei when the communists in China started killing everyone, the architecture is simply stunning. These panoramics, while I’m happy with them, don’t do justice to the sheer scale of the buildings.

Hope you enjoy the images but more images like these can be found elsewhere on this blog but also on my personal website: http://www.chrisradleyphotography.com
