On the 10th of June I had the real pleasure of photographing at wedding for Gavin and Eve. A lot of the weddings I shoot at Lothian Chambers take place in the Edinburgh Suite but for a change they chose the Mcintyre Suite. Whether it’s the McIntyre Suite, Melbourne Suite or even the Edinburgh Suite it’s really nice to photograph in different rooms and locations.
Because they got married in the McIntyre suite we couldn’t do some of the shots I would normally do in the Edinburgh Suite but I’m still really happy with the captures. Gavin and Eve were an absolute delight to work with. Both were confident in front of the camera and followed instructions perfectly (drop your chin Eve lol).
Eve arrived in a fabulous vintage car and following the wedding we took pictures just outside the McIntyre suite on the upper floor mezzanine. We then took some pictures on both sides of St Giles Cathedral and around one of the closes just down the Royal Mile. We then walked up to Victoria Terrace where we took a final couple of photos.
