Padley Gorge is somewhere we had never been to before and for us was an absolute nightmare to get to. While being relatively easy to get to on a map we had to take massive diversions which made us utterly lost.
Padley Gorge is a beautiful example of oak and birch woodland. The gorge is narrow but relatively shallow but we managed to climb down right into the gorge to take a couple panoramic images. I really enjoyed checking out the gorge despite destroying a pair of jeans (long story!) but nevertheless would like to go back here again one autumn to capture more images.
