Sandiman Aboriginal Village Taiwan

Post image for Sandiman Aboriginal Village Taiwan

On the same day we went to Kaohsiung we spent a day at Sandiman Aboriginal Village in Southern Taiwan. This was a really great experience as we saw local and historical aboriginal sculpting as well as the local aboriginals create crafts in the main tourist centre.

There was also an incredible view of the valley but it was really hot and the weather was completely unsuitable for taking a panoramic style image.

As a note and one of the reasons I created an individual post for this is that a couple years later a large part of this Aboriginal Village was wiped out in a typhoon. While I haven’t been to Taiwan since the typhoon a large number of people were killed. I hope this area can recover from the typhoon quickly as it’s immensely beautiful.
