Today we stayed in Taipei but decided to go to Shilin to see both the Presidents Residence but also the night market. Before going to Taipei I had heard of the night market in Shilin, which I wasn’t too impressed with. It was really cheap, which I’m guessing is where it’s popularity is from but otherwise it was a bit grim.
The Presidents Residence was really nice though. It was quiet, beautiful and the atmosphere was really friendly, definitely worth a visit.
