Today Liv and I had an eventful day when we rented a car for a week and drove down to Herefordshire. I lived in Herefordshire, first in Whitchurch, then Ross on Wye and finally Hereford for 11 years and wanted to show Liv where I had lived and effectively grown up.
We drove down in horrendous rain and when we finally got there the weather started to clear we managed to check out my family home, my primary school, St Dubricius Church (where I was forced to go as a child) and Puzzle Wood. We enjoyed seeing everything but rather annoyingly crashed the rental car (due to being cold and tired).
After stringing the car back together we went to the Saracens Head pub where we had some beautifully cooked food and a couple beers (just one for me of course because I was driving). Anyway, I really want to go back there again in the future and show Liv more of the places where I used to go but also to retrace trails that I used to ride my bicycle along when I lived there.
