Taipei Confucious Temple

Post image for Taipei Confucious Temple

Another panoramic of Confucious Temple in Taipei.

The weather was far from ideal for this style of photography but the temple was incredibly beautiful.

Built in 1879 this beautiful temple was modeled after the original Confucius Temple in China. During the period where Japan colonised Taiwan they tore down the temple only for it to be rebuilt following WW2. Built in a really pleasant part of Taipei but in contrast to the extremely busy Bao-an Temple, this beautiful temple is relatively peaceful and provides excellent opportunities for taking photos.
