Bannantyne’s Gym SpeedFlex Launch
Over the last six months or so I’ve done a couple PR type photography jobs for an agency who represent Bannantyne’s Gym. Two of the jobs took place at the newly refurbished Newcraighall branch; the first shoot being of the grand opening after the refurbishment, and the second was for a lady called Debbie who lost a huge amount of weight and everyone wanted to celebrate and promote.
This time I was called into the Queen Street branch of Bannantyne’s Gym to photograph the launch of their Speedflex studio. Speedflex to quote the meta for their website offers “an alternative to the gym or a bootcamp, Speedflex offers high intensity circuit training sessions led by a personal trainer – but there’s a difference. Whether you’re Alan Shearer or a first time exerciser Speedflex will help you reach high heart rate zones as the machines respond to your force as opposed to weights”. Pretty cool.
I haven’t been to the gym for around a year now and Bannantyne’s Gym Queen Street is in a terrible location for me, so unfortunately I won’t be joining or trying out Speedflex anytime soon, but it did look cool.
My task was to photograph people mingling before the class, take photos of management and staff and take photos of the fitness studio then people working out in it. Here are some of the photos from this Bannantyne’s Gym PR job.
