Barbican Property Photographer.
A few months ago, a small family-run estate agent in the City of London contacted me about photographing properties for them. Before working with them, I had never actually been into the Barbican to wander around or see properties but I was made aware of the brutalist architecture so naturally, I was intrigued.
Come several months ago, I rocked up to the Barbican to photograph my first property, and what an awesome area. The Barbican was opened in 1982 and as mentioned the architecture is brutalist. It’s very blocky and industrial-looking but an utterly fascinating compound to explore with many paths that take you all over the place.
Position-wise, love it. It’s located several streets from Smithfield, the Stock Exchange, St Paul’s Cathedral and the financial district (Gherkin, etc) and Spitalfields are just a mile away.
To date, I’ve been into maybe a dozen properties in the Barbican and they vary in quality, but today’s property is by far the most impressive. It has the brutalist architecture shape but it’s modern, bright, comfortable, and has fantastic views of the area. This is a 2 bedroom property which will be listed for over £1 million but I do hope you like the photos. There are many photos of the property and many of the area.
If you like these photos from this really cool property in the Barbican, and you’re looking for a Barbican property photographer, please contact me here.
