Along with St Pauls Square, my favourite part/thing about Birmingham is it’s canal network. I simply like the canal because there is a such a variety of architecture as you walk along it. For example, from the Summer Row end which is right by the Jewellery Quarter, it’s very industrial. There are a lot of old factories but it’s also quite run down in places, but as you make your way towards The Mailbox it’s very modern with stylish bars and of course the Mailbox at the one end.

There are of course more parts to the canal than just Summer Row and The Mailbox but these were my two favourite parts to walk along and photograph. Here are some of my favourite photos taken during daytime from this section of Birmingham’s canal.
