Caves Edinburgh Wedding
A few months ago I photographed another really great wedding at the Rowantree and if you’re not familiar with the Rowantree and it’s neighbouring venues, it’s actually one of three venues owned by Unusual Venues. There’s Marlin’s Wynd, which I still haven’t photographed and is the smallest of the three venues, the Rowantree which is the mid sized venue and the Caves which is the largest and the best venue.
When people book a wedding at either of the three venues, their booking is based on the size of the wedding party but the Caves is easily the best of the three venues. It’s huge inside, has tonnes of really comfortable space, the lighting in the Caves from a photographer’s point of view is a million times better than the Rowantree and it’s just a really great venue.
Louise and Jonathan, who booked me for their wedding, were really awesome to work with, really good fun, really nice and in a rare as rocking horse poop moment, they paid me the full balance of their wedding in one go. Yay!
I’ll let the photos from this wedding talk for themselves but if you want to see more photos from this wedding you can check them out on my dedicated wedding website, Joyful Weddings, by clicking this link here.
One thing I must note about this wedding is they hired the One Fare Day Vintage Taxi company for their wedding. I worked with them at this Leith Registrars Office Lauriston Castle Wedding and they are awesome. Really professional, really fun and also super helpful for me (helping out with moving dresses around etc). If you need a taxi for your wedding, book them!
