Chelsea Harbour Penthouse.
The vast majority of my estate agent property photography takes me around Earls Court, Fulham, Maida Vale, Notting Hill (my favourite location) a few times a month and occasionally South Kensington, but once in a while I venture into Chelsea and so far all of the properties have been really quiet stunning. It humours me how one side of the Thames can have really stunning apartments then directly opposite, you have Imperial Wharf, which is really quite dated, but as well as this property being absolutely stunning, it required the largest floorplan that I drew in 2023.
Out of interest, I did an analysis of the some 500+ floorplans I drew in 2023, and my average floorplan size was a little over 1000 sq ft. The smallest floorplan I did was around 230 sq ft, I do a lot either around 700 or 1300, then this one was 3980 sq ft or 369.8 sq m. So absolutely huge!
In a normal day I can photograph up to 7 properties but thankfully this was my last of the day so there was no time pressure to get it done.
So the property itself, a simply enormous open plan reception kitchen, larger than most total flats I go to, multiple bedrooms, studies, mutliple bathrooms, a really huge upstairs bedroom/workspace. The flat itself is split over two floors, with each floor having wrap around balconies.
The flat itself is ultra modern, there’s a concierge on-site and I have no doubt leisure facilities somewhere. At Chelsea Harbour itself you have a kind of shopping mall/office block full of designer shops and this is just an incredible location to cover.
Admittedly, I don’t spend a lot of time in Chelsea as my work usually takes me elsewhere, but what a property and what a location. If only I could afford to live here!
