London Airbnb photographer

Commercial Property Photographer London. Nearly all of my property photography is residential and largely for Airbnb but a couple of times a year I get to photograph commercial property spaces and today’s shoot is a really popular venue that is occupied by a number of really popular businesses.

Commercial Quay is a historic warehouse that has 7900sq/m of space and houses offices, leisure, and retail accommodation. Popular venues include Quay Commons (pictures below), Kitchin (a Michelin-starred restaurant with a tv chef) as well as many businesses that mostly seem to deal with media.

So the owners of Commercial Quay, a company called Castleforge Partners, had a couple of office spaces renovated and I was asked by their Marketing and Events Manager if I could pop over and take some photos not just of their newly fitted office spaces but of existing spaces throughout. I won’t give you company names as it’s not relevant and no we didn’t photograph Kitchin and no we definitely didn’t get to sample any food (boo!) but it was a relatively simple shoot which gave me a chance to break out the drone.

I’m finding with marketing nowadays photos are great but they’re just not enough. To really get an edge in marketing, obviously depending on your type of industry, videos are awesome and drones (for myself at least) are even better. Rather than just show off your property with a typical look straight ahead photos, get a drone up in the air and really show off the area.

For example, Commercial Quay sits right next door to the Shore which has some really lovely bars and one of the best restaurants in Edinburgh; Fishers. Also, it’s rather pretty by city standards and is just a generally great place to hang out, so we got the drone up in the air, swatted away the seagulls, and took some photos of the local area which everyone really liked.

Sadly the weather wasn’t the best on the day and I’ll be reshooting some of the external photos when the weather is better but these drones are just awesome fun, especially when you get used to them.

So here are some of my favourite photos from this shoot. Very impressed with the spaces and they sit in a really great location. Hope to go back and photograph more spaces for them again soon.

Even though this property was photographed in London, as of October 2022 I’m now based in London. If you’re looking for a Commercial Property Photographer London, please contact me here.
