Edinburgh Old Town Wedding – Mofope and Olusegun

lothian chambers edinburgh wedding

In the middle of June I received a really interesting email from a lady from Nigeria asking if I could photograph her wedding in Edinburgh. Of course I was really interested in doing this wedding as it’s something completely new for me (photographing coloured people) and after a little bit of negotiating about their package I photographed their wedding in the middle of July.

The bride’s name is Mofope and the groom’s name is Olusegun and they were really great fun to work with. Mofope warned me beforehand she’s camera shy but with a bit of persuasion she really relaxed on the day and I think she looks really beautiful. Olusegun, her partner, was awesome to work with. He was utterly charming, loved posing for the camera and if I asked him to pose in a certain way or do something crazy for the camera, he would do something immediately.

Sadly we only had about an hour in total for the photographs (including the ceremony) so we simply didn’t have time to take in many locations around the wedding venue but here are some of my favourite captures from this wedding.

Hope you like.
