So despite being really busy with wedding photography over the last few months and with Liv being busy with work, college and most importantly pregnancy we haven’t really captured a lot of food photography. Liv went through a period where she really hated the taste of her own food (pregnancy thing!) and we ate alternative food (meaning ate out a lot) but as of mid September she started cooking again.
Liv has found as part of her pregnancy that her body only likes really fresh food. Fresh to the point where all fish and meat has to come from butchers and fishmongers and even the noodles in the first dish are completely home made. She’s also obsessed with fresh fruit but I don’t know if we’ll be photographing any fruit dishes in the future.
Suffice to say everything is really delicious and it’s really nice to photograph food again.

As always with Liv’s food you can check it out at her blog which can be found here. Her blog has really comprehensive information about the dishes, ingredients and everything else.
On another food note, as part of eating out, exploring food and so forth, we’ve visited a few new restaurants and a really fantastic bakery called the Sicilian Pastry Shop which deserves a whole blog post of it’s own. Check it out tomorrow
