Glasgow Property Photography
This past week I photographed two really awesome properties for Amanda Campbell at A-Cubed Design. A-Cubed Design (Amanda) specialises in building extensions to current properties and making them beautiful and practical spaces. She contacted me on referral from a lovely lady I worked with last year and asked me to photograph two properties, one in Paisley and one in Clarkston, Glasgow.
Both properties were very different in very different areas and my brief was to focus just on the building works rather than the whole property. The Clarkston property, which is the first property below, had a fabulous open plan kitchen and lounge with a good sized garden and fully retractable glass doors.
The second property below, the Paisley one, consisted of a remodelled kitchen, a utility room with a dedicated dog shower and a skylight above the dining area which everyone was very keen to highlight. Before one of the main challenges I faced with skylights and external shots in general was getting high enough. It was suggested I stand on the street at a certain point but I now have a professional drone so capturing photos from any heigh and angle is no problem now.
I’ve only had the drone a week or so now and I’m very much getting used to flying it. The camera itself is great, very sharp with lots of dynamic range and the 4K 60fps video looks awesome. I’m looking at CAA accredited soon enough as I’m planning to integrate the drone greatly into my work (definitely for properties and possibly for weddings if couples are up for it) so keep watching this website for more.
Also as well as the link for A-Cubed Design’s website, do check out their Facebook page as well. Amanda’s work really is awesome!
