Heriot Row Airbnb
A really epic property today, Heriot Row has some absolutely stunning properties and one of the largest and most famous is this one at number 44 (44 Heriot Row). Checking through the history of this property, I believe it was once owned by the Royal Bank of Scotland and when the chairman visited Scotland he would stay at this property but the rest of the year, and correct me if I’m wrong, it didn’t seem to be used much.
So within the last couple years the property was bought by a family from Vienna and it’s now being rented out on Airbnb when the owners aren’t in Scotland.
44 Herriot Row is absolutely massive. It sits on five floors in total (basement, ground, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors) and the top floor, which really is its own apartment, has its own kitchen and is completely self contained. The rooms in the property are massive and it’s an incredible space just minutes away from Edinburgh City Centre. As always, I like pictures to talk for themselves but this property was really cool and it’s got me thinking about future work.
As you may have gathered I shoot a lot of properties. This November along, at the time of writing on the 17th November I’ve already covered 20+ properties and I have a few more to go. A few of the higher-end property owners have asked if I fly a drone which would look simply awesome if flown through a property and up a large townhouse staircase (well any staircase would do). So between deadlines and shoots I spent a couple days shooting with a drone and I’m looking to buy one in the very near future. Just need to convince my wife to let me buy something really cool (I really want a DJI Inspire) so wish me luck!
