My first blog post in a while, I photographed this short but really fun wedding at Leith Registrars Office a couple months ago and it was a lot of fun. This summer I photographed quite a few weddings but I’ve been crazy busy on the property photography side as well as working on my web design business so I’m really behind with updating this website.
Jack and Nisha, who booked me for this wedding, were actually almost lucky their wedding happened. Originally based in London, they now live in Germany so had to fly back to the UK for their wedding, but their original flight was cancelled and the next and only flight was on the day of the wedding. This should have been fine but the flight had to go to Manchester so they had to land in Manchester and shoot up to Edinburgh but they made it just in time and their wedding was really nice.
Their wedding at Leith Registrars Office lasted just 30 minutes or so and then we walked down to the Kings Wark along the Shore in Leith. It was my first time there and it looked really nice so I’ll take my family there soon.
It was interesting talking to them about why they moved away from the UK and for similar reasons Liv and I are possibly thinking about doing the same thing in a few years but now our daughter Amelia has moved to a school that she really loves (her first primary was awful) we need to see how her school life goes before we make any bold decisions.
I’m on holiday next week but when I return I’ll be sharing tonnes of new jobs and projects I have been working on.
