One of my favourite things about London is the awesome variety of food available. There’s food to cater for literally almost any taste, whether it be Eastern, Middle Eastern, American or whatever.
Take for example Chinatown, I hadn’t been there for a good 10 years or so and when I last went I was a little nieve. I hadn’t met Liv at that time and thought Chinese food is just Chinese food but this time I noticed there was Sichuan, Cantonese, Taiwanese and Korean food as well as hot pot restaurants and bubble tea restaurant. Awesome.
I also really wanted to take Liv to see the food halls at Harrods which are a real spectacle. We couldn’t really stop and eat anything because we had Amelia with us but there were numerous counters with exceptionally good looking and smelling food. Before we went in I joked with Liv I was going to buy a nice pork pie if I saw one and there was a really lovely looking pie but it was a foie gras pie at a few hundred pounds a slice. No thanks!
So here’s a few photos of our little food adventure that we had while we stayed in London for a couple days. Next time I’m hoping Liv and I can pop into Harrods again and actually sit down and have some food (without Amelia bless her).
Our real food highlight of London though was Sticks n Sushi in Covent Garden. I’ll write a review in the next couple of weeks but they are a Danish sushi franchise and their food is absolutely amazing. Easily the best sushi I’ve had on this side of the world so far.
