Lothian Chambers McIntyre Suite and Old Town Wedding
Lothian Chambers McIntyre Suite and Old Town Wedding. Recently I’ve been a little slow on the blogging side of things but I’ve been busy with a really cool project. My wife is in the process of completing her third cookbook and I’ve been doing all the food photography for her. We were given six months to do the book although with the Scottish winter now passing we’ve just recently really plugged through the recipes.
Along with some weddings I’ve had to photograph and being really busy on the car photography side of things I haven’t been updating my blog much. One of the weddings I did photograph recently was a wedding for Kerry and Matt at Lothian Chambers in their McIntyre suite. I always say registry office weddings are an unknown as most of the time I don’t meet the couples beforehand and this wedding was especially an unknown as the bride’s mother booked me but both Kerry and Matt were a joy to work with. I spoke to Matt possibly more than Kerry on the day and it turns out he’s a big wrestling fan (I was a huge wrestling fan during “The Rock” and “Stone Cold Steve Austin” era so I was able to inject quite a bit of wrestling humour into the day and I think it helped.
Regardless of cheesy humour Kerry and Matt’s wedding was a lot of fun to photograph and even though we didn’t spend a lot of time taking photos outside it didn’t really matter. I also got to check out the serviced apartment they were staying in for the wedding which was pretty awesome inside.
Here is a really good selection of my favourite images from the day.
