A few months ago I was contacted by someone at Made.com to see if I would be interested in doing one of their Made Unboxed projects.
Made, if you’ve never heard of them, are a London based company that make furniture. Made appear to be similar to Ikea in that when their furniture is delivered it requires some assembly but certainly the chairs and beds that I have seen in person seem to be of a higher quality (at least in finish) than a certain Swedish companies offerings.
I’m in no way sucking up to Made, I don’t do things like that, but I was impressed with their products. But, back to the photoshoot, Made asked if I could visit a property in Edinburgh which had some of their products and asked that I capture some lifestyle shots. This would include some room shots, some shots of the products in their surroundings as well as some photos of the home owner living with the products. All in all the photoshoot took around two hours, the home owner was lovely and it was a sincerely lovely photoshoot.
Whether I do any more work for Made depends on if any other people with Made products get in contact with Made but hopefully they will.
