London property photographer. I really like the Morningside area of Edinburgh. I’ve lived in Edinburgh for 11 years and I’ve lived in the north and east of Edinburgh but now we live in the south in Marchmont, just a couple minutes away from Morningside. Morningside is most popular for its upmarket cafes, bars and restaurants as well as its boutique shops. There’s also a really big student contingency in the area with Napier university right in the middle.
I’ve photographed a few properties in Morningside and every single one has been a flat/apartment but every single one has been great. I especially liked this flat because of the way it has been decorated. As I’ve moaned about before, almost every Airbnb property (this is an Airbnb property) in Edinburgh is really boring; nice spaces but with no interior design. This property has lots of decoration, I love the wall with the Morningside sign and quite rare for Edinburgh it has a really good bathroom.
Location wise it’s situated opposite the Waitrose in Morningside so it’s just a few minutes by vehicle and 20 minutes walking distance from central Edinburgh. Great property.
