Pollokshields Glasgow Property Photography. Last year I photographed a property called the Swan Inn, in Banton, for Bruach Design & Consultancy, who are based in Glasgow. That was a really great shoot so I was delighted when Bruach contacted me again and asked me to photograph a number of properties around the Glasgow area now that many of their projects are reaching the conclusion.
One of the first properties from this batch of properties was a stunning coach house conversion in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow. My understanding is the building used to be stables but the main house owners’ mother lives in the coach house, so this was completely redesigned and refurbished, and the results are stunning. This is only a one bedroom property but there is tonnes of space and charm and of course the surrounding area and the grounds of the property are pretty amazing.
This shoot was really fun to capture. I met the mother in the coach house and she was kind enough to entertain my daughter while I was busy shooting away. My wife at the time of writing this is out of the country for two months so half terms and weekends, I have to take my daughter to work with me. Thankfully these kinds of shoots easily allow her to tag along. For the shoot I was asked to capture multiple angles of the property with a particular focus on the skylights in the kitchen. I also took my drone with me and captured a number of aerial shots which look absolutely fantastic (at least based on feedback).
Over the next week or two I’ll update my blog with more shoots for Bruach as well as many other shoots I’ve captured over the last few months. If you read my blog you will note that I was out of work for a long time due to the covid pandemic but since restrictions lifted I’ve been absolutely crazy busy with work and I’ve managed to photograph some really incredible properties.
