Do you need your property photographing?
Very early in my photography career I did a lot of property photography. This included both stills and virtual tours photography and I’ve now kind of gone full circle with my photography. For a few years I focused just on weddings, events and food but in recent times I’ve started doing a lot of property photography for some pretty big clients.
As of June 2018 I’m currently photographing around 25 properties a month for Airbnb style properties. I work for several companies as well as private individuals and what you see below is my consistent style for all the properties I photograph. Whether it be a 5-star hotel, a local pub or an Airbnb property I’m entirely consistent. Just to name two companies I’ve taken properties for are Airbnb and Tripadvisor and my work has been featured in magazines.
Whether you want photos of your home to help sell your property or even to keep memories, or even if you have an office space, a property to let then I can help you.
My property photography combines super wide angle shots with detail shots and lifestyle shots, meaning people interacting in the photos, can be incorporated. I use high end digital cameras with wide angle lenses and a mixture of ambient and studio lighting to create my best work and I really love doing this kind of work.
What property photography involves
Scheduling call or email in advance of the shoot. This works out time frames for the day and any essential shots
Photoshoots depending on location and number of rooms and complexity can take anything from 40 minutes to half a day. This will all be discussed beforehand and a price agreed
All images are supplied via Dropbox or We Transfer. Both are super simple to use
You can use the images completely free for anything you want (incl. Social Media; Facebook, Twitter etc)
Files can be provided in a number of different formats to suit your requirements

A few days ago I wrote about some newly refurbished AirBNB style serviced apartments at Royal Garden Apartments. The first batch of photos focused more on the upper floor apartments on the south side and the photos today focus on the lower floor north side apartments....
At this point in my Edinburgh career I think I've been into the vast majority of serviced apartments in Edinburgh for one reason or another. One of the first I went into was the Royal Garden Apartments around 10 years ago and I remember it being really dated but in a...
I think this property must be located in the coolest sounding close in the world. Literally this property is in Worlds End Close midway down the Royal Mile. I've written before about properties I've photographed along the Royal Mile and some are quite nice, some are...
I really like the Morningside area of Edinburgh. I've lived in Edinburgh for 11 years and I've lived in the north and east of Edinburgh but now we live in the south in Marchmont, just a couple minutes away from Morningside. Morningside is most popular for it's...
Glasgow and Edinburgh might only be 50 or so miles apart but they are completely different cities and this really is reflected in the properties. Edinburgh is all about it's old looks and old tenements while Glasgow is a lot more modern with more modern properties...
Every so often I’ll photograph a property that blows my socks off and this is one of those. Over the last year I’ve worked with Amanda Campbell from A-Cubed Design and she referred me to her friend Sara Hamilton at Breagh
