Registry Office Wedding Edinburgh
Registry Office Wedding Edinburgh. May has been an insanely busy month for myself, I photographed four weddings, the car photography work is as busy as ever and I spent the month trying to complete my college course. I had my exams at college which I passed with a B and I got an A for my practical graded unit so I’m off to university this autumn and I’m going full steam ahead with setting up a new web design and development business as well as working on a few side projects.
I’ve also been trying to visit the Cornerstone Centre at St John’s Church build site although time has been a little too tight for this. I will however post an article about the Cornerstone Centre quite soon as I’ve found the whole build and all the changes utterly fascinating. In fact a good part of the build is almost done but you’ll see this possibly in my next article.
So this Registry Office Wedding, specifically at Lothian Chambers Registry Office, was my second wedding during May and it turned out to be a lot of fun. I’ve written before that some couples I meet before and some I don’t, in the case of Emma and Steve’s wedding I didn’t meet them before so it was a bit of an unknown but they turned up to be a really awesome fun couple. Emma asked me to pop along to the flat they were staying in to get some final preparation photos. Emma and Steve got married in the McIntyre Suite and it was quite a decent sized wedding for the venue and everyone really enjoyed themselves.
Following the ceremony we took photos inside Lothian Chambers and then we headed over to St Giles for the rest of the photos. We had really great weather on the day and with the summer rapidly approaching there were loads of tourists wandering around and a group of about 30 or so tourists came over to take photos of the wedding party so I made the snap decision to put them in the photos as well and it was great, everyone including myself was laughing like crazy. The last time I saw something like this was for Sophie and Saul’s awesome wedding in 2016 and it really is a great thing to see.
So I hope you like my photos from this Lothian Chambers Registry Office Wedding. Lothian Chambers will only be hosting weddings for another few months and I still and always will think it’s such a tragic loss losing that venue as a wedding venue but I have a few more weddings booked there and will keep updating this website with more weddings from there.
