Roehampton new build photographed by London property photographer.
I’ve written so many times about how much I love photographing new builds. In fact, I love photographing many types of properties, whether industrial units converted to residential homes, mews-style properties, or new builds.
New builds are fun because for one they are usually quite fun to explore, everything is also clean and modern and they’re just great to see in person.
I was hired to photograph this new build in Roehampton, which is one of two 100% exactly the same buildings built next door to each other. Each property starts with an enormous semi-open-plan reception kitchen on the ground floor and then two floors of different-sized bedrooms. A couple of bedrooms are quite small, a couple are really large, and many, if not all, are en-suite.
Being a new build, it has many rooms of quirky shapes and far too much hallway space on each floor, but I’m not the architect, so it has nothing to do with me. The top-floor rear bedroom has a really large roof terrace, and to the rear of the house on the ground floor, there is an enormous garden.
And of course, being a huge house, with lots of storage space! If I could ignore the price and get rid of the excessive hallway space, I would love to live here!
