Today we stayed in Taipei but decided to go to Shilin to see both the Shilin Presidents Residence but also the night market. Before going to Taipei I had heard of the night market in Shilin, which I wasn’t too impressed with. It was really cheap, which I’m guessing is where it’s popularity is from but otherwise it was a bit grim.

The Shilin Resident Park was was absolutely beautiful and we had a look at the Chiang Ka Shek Garden which incorporates the Shilin Presidents Residence. Liv suggest we visit as it’s a really lovely place to walk around and it really was. The gardens were quiet, beautiful and the atmosphere was really friendly. So definitely worth a visit.

Here are the photos from the day, It was really hot on the day but that just added to the fun of the day..
