Stockbridge Property Photography
Stockbridge Property Photography. I’ve always been a big fan of Stockbridge. I think many would think of Stockbridge as bit of a hipster area (I’m definitely not a hipster) with all of it’s trendy bars but it is a nice area with great bars, great food, great walks and the rather expensive but really charming Sunday food market.
Stockbridge is typical Edinbugh, rows and rows of four or five story buildings but typical Edinburgh, each area’s properties is completely different inside to out. For example I live in Marchmont which is one of the most expensive areas in Edinburgh but is full of really nice but old properties that have tiny bathrooms and are bloody cold in the winter. Other areas are more modern, some of a mixture and Stockbridge is again quite old properties but I’ve never seen inside one until now.
I photographed this two bedroom AirBNB property a couple weeks ago for BNB Buddy and it was surprisingly nice and cosy inside. I learnt the owner spent several months redecorating the property and he or she did a really great job.
Over the next few weeks my business is going to change yet again. It’s that time of the year where landlords prepare their apartments/houses/flats etc for the new tourist year so I might have the odd one or two properties to photograph but it could go quiet. Wedding season is kicking in though so I should have a few weddings to share on my wedding website; https://joyfulweddings.co.uk fairly soon and my web design business is getting really busy. I’ve got a load of websites to build and I’m really enjoying making these and can’t wait to see the end results. I’ve got a church website to rebuild, a travel agency site, I’m going to help a graphic designer build a portfolio and my good friend Kerrigan, who used to work at St John’s Church and got me involved with the Cornerstone Centre timelapse and website project, is launching her own brand and business and has a really good business idea. So, lots of things coming up.
