Recently I’ve been capturing a number of Matterport tours for different clients and one of these companies is an energy company who provide models for modern heating conversions for properties. That was the main house that I did the Matterport tour for and the owners own this fabulous little Airbnb which sits on the River Thames literally 30 seconds walk away.
They have listed this property with their own photos with mixed results so they asked me to pop over and take some photos and what an absolutely gorgeous surprise. 99.9% of the properties I do are in the city so to go almost into the country to shoot a cute little riverside cottage was wonderful.
I took a number of photos both inside and out and I actually got the drone up for the first time in a while. Before I moved to London almost three years ago from Scotland, I used to fly the drone all the time, but since moving down I haven’t really had a chance to use it which has been upsetting me. This was compounded with an Easter (2025) trip to Sicily, where you can fly drones) and when I came back I discovered I lost the charger for my old drone (2018 model) after I moved home this March (also 2025). So on the 11th June I ordered a brand new DJI Mavic 4 Pro drone which I’m mega excited to receive and will hopefully use quite a lot.
But in conclusion, this Sunbury Airbnb is absolutely fabulous, bright, cosy, big garden that overlooks the water and just great. I love it.
