Now, this is a really cool property. Located in London city centre, very close to St Paul’s Cathedral, Southwark Bridge, Cannon St station, and just a couple of streets away from Tower Bridge, I was booked to take photos, draw a floor plan, and do a quick video of this really cool lower ground-floor apartment.
Usually, I have dread about photographing lower ground floor apartments as they often tend to be dark and dingy, and on the day I took these photos the weather was miserable, so I had double gloom and doom entering going to this apartment.
But on entry, what a fabulous property. This styling is immaculate, everything is superly placed, there’s lots of colour and character and it’s just a really awesome property. I have a handful of people I share my property photos and everyone, including the agent selling this property, said it’s a really cool property and the feedback for the photos was spot on.
I love photographing properties in London city centre. I fairly regularly take photos around the Barbican and just recently I’ve been photographing more and more properties in the area and apart from one or two duds, all of these properties have been fantastic.
Also, I thought it might be worth giving an update about my recent work. Recently I’ve been photographing 3-5 properties a day all over London. Most of my work keeps me in southwest London around South Kensington, Earls Court, Fulham and Chelsea. I’ve started doing more Matterport tours recently, which eventually I’ll write an article about, and I’m meeting some really fascinating people and photographing a few really terrible properties here and there but most are fantastic. As an example, last week I photographed a £8.5 million apartment in Hyde Park which I’ll share soon, but on the same day I photographed a real dump in Maida Vale. Funny how one can go from the worst of the worst to something magnificent, but I have a ton of properties to share shortly.
