East Village penthouse photographed by London property photographer.
Stratford and the East Village are on almost the total opposite side of London from where I’m based so I don’t tend to photograph many properties in this area. Most of my work tends to be in west and central London but every several months I go to Stratford/Walthamstow etc to photograph properties.
Most to date have been pretty grim but todays property is an absolute delight. Located in the former Olympic Village, this two bedroom flat is located on the top floor of a local tower and has a triangular shape but is really spacious inside, has a very modern bright decor and a large balcony.
At the time of the booking I had just bought a new drone to replace my slightly aging DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2 (great drone btw but technology has moved along consideraly) and I was hoping this would be a top floor and to my absolute delight it is on the top floor and has fabulous views of the area and I could quite easily fly without any risk of hitting anything. Plus on the day we had really beautiful weather so this was a delight to shoot.
The owner is looking to rent this out and hired me to just take photos, so to provide the drone photos was hugely beneficial for both of us.
I look forward to photographing more properties in the East Village. This is a really cool property and I would love to see how other properties in the area compare.
