FAQ

What is your availability?

I generally work 6 days a week 10am – 7pm although I always make sure I have one day off at the weekend. Which day changes weekly.

How long does a photoshoot take?

Entirely depends on the size of the property and what extras are required. Small one bedroom properties, just photos, takes up to 45 minutes but if you have a 5 bedroom property and want photos, a floorplan, Matterport tour this could take several hours.

How many photos will I receive?

As with the photoshoot time length this entirely depends on the property. I have been to one bedroom properties before and taken 60+ photos but in contrast have been to ultra boring 3 bedroom properties and taken 20 photos. Essentially the more things there are to photograph, the more photos you’ll receive.

Will you capture exterior photos?

Within reason yes. My photography combines wide-angle and detailed shots inside and shots of the building and if practical shots of the local area outside.

What’s included in the price?

The price includes everything to do with the shoot. This includes capturing all of the photos, editing the photos, travel costs and parking fees. You have to note sometimes properties can take me upwards of two hours to travel to, so I have to cover some of this time.

Can you stage my property?

I’m very far from an interior designer but I can stage your property with flowers, pictures, food etc. One thing to note: I AM NOT A CLEANER. If your property is a mess, I will not tidy it, it’s not my job. This has happened a few times, especially in the last couple years, where I have been booked to go to a property and when I arrive I receive messages asking if I can clean as well. NO! I AM NOT A CLEANER.

What is your image turnaround time?

I know you really want to receive your images quickly so my turnaround is up to 36 hours unless otherwise agreed

Which areas do you cover?

Primiarly London but I can travel nationally if you’re willing to pay transport fees.

What is your work experience?

I started working as a photographer 2005 and have been full time since 2011. In that time I have photographed roughly 7000 properties, 400+ weddings, thousands of cars, food and events. I have worked with a whole range of clients ranging from royalty to Grand Designs to Tripadvisor, many estate agents and thousands of private individuals.

Any suggestions for preparing my property?

First of all, make sure your property is as clean and tidy as it can be. If it is decorated make sure curtains are pulled back, cleaning supplies are away, toilet seats are down and decorations are straight. Just remember one of the points above, I’M NOT A CLEANER, it’s up to you to make sure your property is at least clean.

What kind of equipment do you use and do you have a wide-angle lens?

As of 2025 I’m shooting primarily with a Nikon Z8 and multiple high-end lenses, including wide-angle models. I previously shot with a Nikon D4 for many years and do bring this to some shoots but technology has moved on and the Z8 takes significantly better quality photos than any other cameras I have used.

Tripod is a Gitzo (best of the best) and for videos I use a DJI RS3 gimbal. For drones I currently use a DJI Mavic 4 Pro and DJI Avata 2. Both are phenomenally capable and capture quite stunning photos and video.
